What to include

• The occasion: Griha Pravesh, or "Housewarming Ceremony" for friends who may not know the term
• Hosts: the family name or the couple
• Puja time: the muhurat matters, so give the exact time
• Lunch or dinner after the puja, if you're serving a meal
• Full address and a landmark; new homes are notoriously hard to find

English Griha Pravesh invitation wording

1. "With the blessings of the Almighty, we invite you to the Griha Pravesh of our new home."
2. "A new home, a new beginning. Please join us for our Griha Pravesh puja and bless our home."

2. "नव गृह प्रवेश के शुभ अवसर पर आप सादर आमंत्रित हैं।"

WhatsApp message to send with the card

Tips

• Send it 7–10 days ahead. Muhurats are fixed early, but guests need notice for a weekday.
• Add a map link in your WhatsApp message rather than on the card itself.
• Mention parking in apartment complexes. Guests will thank you.
